BIKINI-CLAD PERTH BEAUTIES ATTEMPT WORLD RECORD

Vmoto was happy to support the Guinness World Record attempt held at the Perth bell tower. Read on to see how the event went.

If Perth's beaches appeared drained of bikini-clad beauties on the 17th during the Red Bull air race, it was because they were all riverside for a Guinness World Record attempt.

Hundreds gathered outside the belltower for the photo shoot. The event, in support of the Strike A Chord for Cancer children's charity, attracted women of all ages, shapes and sizes. Participants were cheered on by an even bigger crowd of spectators and photographers.

Event organiser Yellow Empire had hoped that more than 1000 women would turn out for the event, but managing director Peter Aleksander said the final number was closer to 500.

"We would have loved to have broken the record, but we still had a fantastic turnout," Mr Aleksander said.

"Everyone had a great time and we really engaged with the community, so I couldn't be happier."

The women each paid $20 to take part and raised funds prior to the event. Vmoto was happy to supply the main prize of a Milan scooter to the person who raised the most amount of money for the event. Scroll down to check out the photos of the event.
